 Joint Conference by the Allergy Academy and the Allergy Research Foundation

Date:
Wednesday, 7th November 2012

Venue:
The Royal Society of Medicine, 1 Wimpole Street, London

"The difficult to manage allergy patient"

This is the 19th of a series of meetings organised by the Allergy Research Foundation, each of which has focused on a specific aspect of the association between allergy and disorders of health. Over the years we have seen an increased acceptance of this link. This year we have identified an opportunity to expand on the concepts originally presented 19 years ago with an emphasis on the many aspects of treating the ‘difficult allergy patient’.

This meeting will discuss the various difficult situations which can confront the allergy physician in treating the acute and chronic problems presented by

* Asthma

* Rhinitis

* Angioedema

* Eczema

* Urticaria

* Disorders of the Gut

* Food Allergy and Intolerance

There will be an afternoon interactive question and answer session on specific ‘difficult cases’.

This meeting will be of great interest to Allergists and Immunologists, Dermatologists, Physicians, Paediatricians, General Practitioners, Specialist Nurses, and Dietitians who have a particular interest in the links between allergy and disorders of health.
