About Us

The Allergy Research Foundation was founded in 1988 by a group of hospital consultants and general medical practitioners. All were concerned about the lack of importance being attached to allergy, both in everyday medical practice and in medical research. The Allergy Research Foundation was established to support education aimed at the better understanding of such conditions and improved patient care in the area of allergic illness.
